One Story...LupusAdvocacy.org is the brainchild and hard work of Angela Madaras, a lupus survivor and committed advocate for lupus awareness and research.  Angela was diagnosed with SLE with kidney involvement in 1985. Her desire to help promote lupus literacy is inspired not only by her own health challenges, but also by the loss of her mother due to lupus complications.

LupusAdvocacy.org's mission is to support patients, educate the public, connect organizations and individuals to one other  and ultimately to raise funds for lupus research at U of M.
